Compact Ivory Coloured Wardrobe and Desk

Ivory door wardrobe and desk

While many people might dream of walk-in-wardrobes, they are not always feasible as they need a lot of space. In smaller rooms where you have a limited amount of space, a fitted wardrobe is a better choice.

So what do you need to consider when you are choosing the internal layout for your wardrobe? A good starting point would be to do a general declutter. We tend to wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time. That’s a lot of excess stuff. We keep things we don’t need for all kinds of reasons. Whether it is because of their sentimental value, because they were bargain purchases or because you have moved on from a particular style or shape, you need to be ruthless.

Once you have eliminated unnecessary items from your wardrobe, you can begin to organise your belongings and think about what kind of layout you need. Do you have a lot of clothes that need to go on hangers? Do you need extra drawers or shoe storage? Do you need pull out racks? Your answers will determine the internal design.

Built-in vanity units or study desks with drawers can add more storage space.
