Hide the radiator – keep the heat
Radiator covers provide an elegant and practical way to hide radiators without compromising on the warmth of the room. They can be stand-alone or integrated into a larger piece of furniture and are designed to make the radiator easily accessible.
While radiators are necessary, often they are placed bang in the middle of a wall leaving little room for anything beside it and a lot of unused space.
In this case a bookcase unit with an integrated radiator cover was built around the radiator. While it is fixed solidly to the wall, it can be simply detached from the wall by lifting it upwards to allow access to the radiator.
